Guten Tag!

My greatgrandfather came to America from Austria. He refused to teach his children German because he said Americans should not speak any language other than English. Times have changed greatly since then, and now people get more jobs and higher pay for speaking multiple languages. Why, then, does America not have a second language program in its schools?

Why Is A Second-Language Program Important?

1) Education systems are failing
2) Political and global awareness is diminishing
3) Markets are globalizing

Notice:
Only 6% of young adults can find all 5 countries
21% cannot identify any
only 12% of people correctly identified Afghanistan after the US had been sending troops there for 3 years

Physical Product

I opted to learn Polish from my priest who is from Poland. Also, because my church is of Polish heritage, I find it relevant to teach 15 sunday school children Polish culture, history, geography and the language.
